KHAMAMA Blue 1874 - grand silk scarf (130x130cm)

Digital Haute Art de Papillon Design - silk twill scarf (100% silk, 130x130cm)

KHAMAMA‘s greatest inspiration are butterflies which in many cultures are seen as the epitome of beauty. The talented Parisian designer Yann Llorens has created this mesmerising blue scarf design with more than 700 digitalised „Morpho“ butterfly wings in their natural colours, shapes and sizes, layered together to a grand mosaic - reminding of the beauty of nature.

This silk scarf was printed in Macclesfield, a little town in North England where silk has been printed for more than 300 hundred years. Once it was world‘s largest producer of finished silk. Today it is still known as England‘s „silk town“.

After the silk scarf is printed and cut, the edges of the scarf are traditionally hand-rolled and hand-sewn. In order to preserve the beauty of your KHAMAMA silk, store your silk scarves flat and untied, avoid contact with rain and chemicals and entrust them to a cleaning professional.
